XMR · Sell this asset
Monero is not offered for sale
Monero is not offered for sale on Fiatside, and will not be in the European Union. European anti-money-laundering regulation requires crypto-asset service providers to stop handling enhanced-anonymity assets; we apply that rule ahead of time rather than open a service we would have to close.
- Not offered
Why this asset is not available
No Monero deposit address is issued. Do not send XMR to an address obtained on this site: it would belong to another network, and the funds would be lost.
Accepted networks and confirmation delays
The number of confirmations we require is not negotiable: it is the threshold beyond which a chain reorganisation becomes unlikely enough to commit to an irrevocable payment on the other side.

The pitfall to know

Deposit: minimum, rate lock, precision
These four values shape the order before you even pick a payout method. They belong to the asset.
- Minimum deposit
- 0.1 XMRBelow that, the network cost taken from the deposit is too large a share of the amount for the operation to make sense.
- Rate lock window
- 15 minutesShort window: the price can move while confirmations land, and we carry that risk once the rate is locked.
- Base unit decimals
- 12Amounts are handled as integers of base units, never floating point numbers: no silent rounding loss.
- Corridor status
- ClosedCorridor in production: delays and execution rate considered stabilised.
What you pay, line by line
Three deductions, never one more. The lines sum to exactly the gap to the mid-market rate.
The network cost is taken in kind from your deposit, before any conversion: it is what leaving the XMR chain costs, and it does not come to us. It varies with the network you pick, which is the main reason to prefer one over another.
Our spread carries a volatility surcharge. Once the rate is locked, we carry the market move until your deposit lands: that surcharge is the price of the guarantee, and it appears as its own line.
The rail fee depends on the payout method you pick, and it is shown in the table above before you select anything. Most local rails charge none; the international wire and the e-wallet are the notable exceptions.
Total time, with no favourable rounding
The delay you experience is the sum of two things: the confirmation wait on the network you pick, then the rail settlement. We show both separately because we control neither — we only control triggering the payout as soon as confirmations land, with no extra wait on our side.
Other assets in the same delay family
If the confirmation time bothers you, another asset in the same wallet often changes everything.

Frequently asked questions about selling Monero
How long does selling Monero take?
Two durations add up. First the on-chain confirmation: 20 min on Bitcoin. Then the settlement of the rail you pick: depending on the payout method, and up to several business days on an international wire. The payout method table above gives each one.
What is the minimum XMR deposit?
0.1 XMR. Below that threshold the network cost taken from the deposit is too large a share of the amount for the operation to make sense. This minimum belongs to the asset: it does not depend on the payout method, which has its own settlement minimum.
Is the displayed XMR rate guaranteed?
The net amount is firm from the moment the order is created and stays so for 15 minutes. If your deposit lands after expiry we re-quote and ask you to accept the new amount before anything is paid. Nothing is ever executed at an amount you have not seen.
