My transfer was rejected, what happens now?

The funds come back, then a new destination account is requested. The net amount does not change.

A rejection has three main causes: the holder name does not match the verified identity, the account is closed or dormant, or the receiving institution’s ceiling is exceeded. A valid IBAN check digit says nothing about any of those.

Funds return to our accounts after a delay specific to the rail, generally a few business days. The amount owed to you is unchanged: a rejection triggers no re-quote, since the conversion already happened.

You then enter a new account, verified the same way. If the rejection came from a ceiling, splitting into several transfers is possible.

Open a ticket with the order number and, if it concerns a deposit, the transaction hash. Those two items are usually enough to settle it with no further exchange.
