Come scegliere quale asset inviare
Se detieni più asset, due criteri bastano per decidere.
Primo criterio: tempo di conferma. Va da una manciata di secondi a circa venti minuti a seconda della catena e si somma interamente al ritardo del circuito. Se punti a un pagamento entro pochi minuti, un asset la cui catena conferma in dieci minuti lo rende impossibile, qualunque sia il circuito.
Secondo criterio: stabilità del prezzo. Una stablecoin non si muove durante l'attesa: la finestra di blocco del tasso è più lunga e non si applica alcun sovrapprezzo per volatilità. Un asset volatile comporta un sovrapprezzo, che è il prezzo per garantire l'importo annunciato: una volta bloccato il tasso, il movimento del mercato è a nostro carico, non tuo.
Un terzo criterio conta se detieni lo stesso asset su più reti: costo di invio. Inviare da una rollup o da una catena a basse commissioni costa una frazione di un invio su una mainnet congestionata. Quel costo viene prelevato in natura dal tuo deposito e appare come voce separata nel dettaglio.

Su queste reti l'indirizzo da solo non basta: un campo aggiuntivo identifica il beneficiario di un deposito aggregato. Senza di esso il deposito arriva ma non viene attribuito automaticamente e il recupero diventa manuale. Copia sempre entrambi i valori.

Domande frequenti sugli asset
On what criteria does an asset enter this catalogue?
Three conditions: exit liquidity deep enough to cover the amount you sell without moving the market, a network whose exit cost does not eat small amounts, and clear compliance. An asset failing any of the three is not offered, however much it is asked for.
Why does the minimum amount differ so much between assets?
Because it is expressed in units of the asset, and each chain’s exit cost differs. The minimum is set so the network cost stays a reasonable share of the amount: below it, you would mostly be paying to move funds, not to convert them.
Why is the rate lock window not the same everywhere?
The 3 stablecoins in the catalogue get a longer window, because their price barely moves while confirmations land. On a volatile asset the window is shorter: once the rate is locked, we carry the market move until the deposit arrives.
What happens if I send on the wrong network?
It depends on the network. Between two EVM-compatible chains, a manual recovery procedure succeeds in most cases. Between two unrelated chains, funds are generally lost, and no provider can change that. That is why the network is an explicit choice before the address is displayed, not a pre-ticked box.
How many networks are supported?
16 networks, for 18 assets. The same asset can exist on several of them: that is the stablecoin case, where the network mostly changes send cost and confirmation time, not what you receive.
Do you offer enhanced-anonymity assets?
No. European anti-money-laundering regulation requires crypto-asset service providers to stop handling those assets. We apply the rule ahead of time rather than open a service we would have to close, and we write it down rather than let it look like an oversight.
